How this community got me an A in my English 108 Class last semester.

During my semester in English 108 we were told to choose a community that we belong to, and care for, a community that defined us, I had decided to make my community the World of Warcraft community.We were given three writing projects. The first was to identify what defines your community. What makes it unique, and give examples.The second was to identify an issue within your community, and propose a solution to that issue.The final was to apply a social theory (Psychoanalysis, Deconstructionism, etc.) to your community and to analyze how it applies.After a very challenging semester, I was given back an A, each and every paper. I kind of wanted to thank you all, and let you read them, if you're interested. My first paper involved an interview with none other than Zelse, and his friendship moose run.So without further ado, here are the papers.Task One, A Whole New World (Of Warcraft)Task Two, Destroying The Barriers of ExclusionTask Three, Facing Our Darkness and Calling It HomeMy hope is that you guys will enjoy them, or maybe use them as inspiration for your own papers.Note: My instructor was really into the idea of "The bigger picture" so that might explain my conclusions.

So Blizzard keeps changing my guild name from Thrall's Balls because they find it offensive. Yet they are the ones who came up with it.Thrall's balls is a humorous catch phrase originally used by Legionnaire Nazgrim during Blood and Thunder!, during which he yells: Thrall's balls! They're everywhere... Later, during Defending the Rift, he also says Thrall's balls! I'm sick of fighting naga!In the Legion pre-patch, several new voiced emotes were added for all playable races. Orc characters who use the /whoa emote say "Thrall's balls!"Do it, type /whoa on an Orc.I think it's a bit hypocritical of them to deem my guildname offensive, and I quote "Violation: Inappropriate Guild NameYour fellow players reported your in-game name as inappropriate multiple times. " when they use it in game THREE TIMES and even have an emote for it!This is not for using the name Thrall in the guildname either.
