With WoW being such a big MMORPG it feels like a big let down that all vendors are ... pointless.

Was just thinking about it. Each zone has camps, town or cities, filled with various NPCs lore worthy or not and so are NPCs who supposed to sell things. But if you click on them they sell across all continents and zones the same thing some very basic old tailoring materials or simple daggers for skinning or empty enchanting vellums.Nowadays vendors just exist for 2 reasons, repairs and buying our gray items.I really think that wow need more Vendors like the crazy merchant. Selling different things for different prices with different flavors and contenxt. Even food vendors like who actually even buy this kind of food. Does anyone buy this food for leveling to heal themself out of combat i don't think so.And even if anyone would buy food that would be from the aucitonhouse for the sake of stat buffs.buying and crafting from vendors would sound like an essencial part in an RPG game but in wow for years it's been a non-existing factor do you think blizzard at some point focus on that?
