Character Services are way too expensive

So my plan was to faction transfer + server transfer my warrior to the server my friends all play..but 55$????I played many mmos, but never seen such a big price for services like that. The max level boost price is a joke as well.I guess i wont be playing with my friends.Who needs them anyway right?
