Cross faction grouping does not diminish faction pride

At Blizzcon they spoke briefly on the subject of faction imbalance, and threw out their typical "factions need to matter" line.Like hello of course factions matter. Me choosing to group up with my friend who is alliance doesn't make me any less proud to be horde. Or vice versa. Having the ability to do content across faction lines doesn't make my choice of race and faction any less impactful. In fact, I would argue it actually makes it more impactful with who I want to identify with because I can then make that choice without worrying about the social or gameplay consequences. I choose the group I enjoy being a part of, and I will still answer the battle cry of my faction whenever it is called.Your faction still dictates the cities you have access to, the characters and leaders you interact with. I don't see why this has to change anything about world pvp or any of that. If I'm in war mode just because I grouped up with my friend who was the other faction earlier that day doesn't mean I'm going to feel any less inclined to pick a fight if I'm wanting to be in war mode that day.I understand if there are technical hurdles that make this difficult. But the faction pride thing is a lame excuse, and shouldn't limit the ability to play with friends and make groups for content. In a game that you have to group up to get anything worthwhile accomplished why should you cut half of the player base off from each other? And also while it might be true that the factions are fairly evenly represented as a whole it is very clearly not the case as soon as your level of content starts to get even remotely high. Whether that be casual mythic raiding or simply looking for level 15 keys.
