If your racial gives you enough skill points in a profession to equip a crafted gear piece, and you get changed to the other faction during the raid, you will lose your bonus skill points and your gear item will be auto unequipped.

Edit 2: regardless of whether this was intended or not, I'll just leave it up so people know.Edit 3: it wasn't clear, but on certain bosses in the new raid, you get changed to be of the opposite faction (because why would Alliance kill Jaina). Depending on which race you are, you become a specific different race (so night elfs become trolls) and get all their racials, while you lose your own. This is not a choice, it's a 'feature' of the new raid.I feel as if this should have been tested, but by this point I'm getting tired of the "Beta for Azeroth" meme, because it's honestly not funny anymore by this point.Edit: there's some discussion going whether it's valid. For us personally it was awkward because no one knew and suddenly people were missing gear, and did not have any backup because why should they?Maybe it is intended but it does not seem very well thought out.!
