My stories as previous Game Master (light hearted, mostly)

So first off forgive me I only use reddit via alien blue (It ceased being updated for years now). I also went through the subs rules and do not see anything rule breaking on what I will be posting.So a little back story, I was hired and worked for Blizzard Entertainment as a GM in 2006 moved on to be in QA Jan, 2010 and departed the company 2012 to be an at home father. My pay check was barely covering childcare cost and I never got to see my kids. I left on a high note, took pride in my job and have an old school work ethic. I was at work early and a lot of the time last to leave. Blizzard will always be close to my heart, made a lot of great friends and so on. I know it is a place I can go back to if I wanted.So the point of this post was in response to a thread yesterday that entailed dumb things you did in wow. I dont consider most them dumb just inexperienced mistakes. Very bob ross-eque 😁. So I wanted to share moments I had with customers no names will be given because a lot of these interactions are about 10 years old and I cant remember that sort of detail at this age.So my first story, one of my favorites actually!The ticket I recieved was a behavior harassment complaint. Time frame was Dark Portal event leading to Burning Crusade, for those that dont know we unleashed Doom Lord Kazzak all over Azeroth. Most in particular the capital cities. Funny mechanic about him is when he kills someone he gets a good amount of health back. I forget how long before he declares victory and spams shadow bolt volley but it is meant to wipe the entire area.Guilds from both factions were trying to down him at the same time for loot. But if a low level happened to land a hit before the guilds got involved then lowbie hit the lottery.So now back to the story, harassment ticket comes in. The target area was Undercity. Player complained another was cursing in chat the usual. So I am investigating the logs and it was a new player who had no idea what was going on and all of a sudden sees Doom Lord Kazzak, he panics and runs to Undercity yelling in chat - Omg theres this huge fucking thing killing everything need help! At this point it is something we see on the regular at this time and choose to give him a warning. But so many people panicked on that world event. I have plenty of others. Stories get less interesting towards the last year or so as a GM because I was working primarily on Compromised Accounts.Again sorry on any formatting I only use Alien Blue, and if this sort of thing isnt allowed I understand.
