Is anyone actually in support of the new AoE cap in Shadowlands?

I’m interested if people actually think the change is good. I want to your reasoning about it because right now I can’t see any positives. It removes diversity of the number of mobs in packs, makes it less immersive and completely changes the identity of some classes.
