Theory: The monkey who saved Azeroth once before is here to do so once again

With the current story slowly moving towards the old gods, I think it’s important we take a look at one of the most important characters who has fought against old god corruption before, and indeed, has played an important part in saving the world once before.I speak of course, of Brann Bronzebeard’s pet monkey, Glibb.Before we get to the present, it’s time to take a look back into the past.Back before the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj were opened, Brann Bronzebeard had travelled to Silithus to learn about the qiraji, and look into the rumors around C’Thun. Unfortunately, during an expedition into Hive’Regal, they came across a silithid crystal that ended up brainwashing the Night Elf Natalia Mar'alith, from the Cenarion Circle, into servitude of C’Thun. Brann, and his dwarven companions Rutgar and Frankal, carried her out to safety, but she had already been taken over by the old god’s power, and thus turned on the expedition party later on.Now, when Natalia attacked, she was flinging shadowy void spells around and easily overcoming the dwarves… But what force could stand up to this void-powered foe? As per the testimony of Frankal himself:Her eyes were aglow with something evil and she was genuinely frothing at the mouth! She came in, did some kind of crazy scream that sent us all runnin' in separate directions then started flayin' our minds one by one. I'd be hearin' shadowy words in my head, watchin' the other's periodically black out here and there. It was madness! We would have been done for if not for the damned monkey.Anyhow, so yea, the monkey went into a frenzy after seein' ol' Brann flop into the sand face first. Nothin' the night elf could do was stopping Glibb here from poundin' on her noggin.This act of heroism is also backed up by Rutgar. As we can see, not only could Glibb’s monkey brain withstand the mind-shattering effects of Natalia’s old god empowered shadow magic, but he also saved the lives of the three dwarves, most notably Brann Bronzebeard!The very same Brann Bronzebeard who later took an expedition to Northrend, alerting us to the presence of Yogg-saron and leading adventurers to Ulduar. If this didn’t happen, we would never have confronted Algalon the Observer in time before he sent the reply code to re-originate Azeroth.That’s right. Glibb’s act of heroism was a critical part of the timeline directly leading to saving Azeroth from re-origination. Without this brave, mind control resistant monkey, we would have lost everything back in Northrend.And all he demands is adequate food, water, and hugs.Some of you may now be worried that this forgotten hero may have perished in Silithus with the recent upheaval, but fear not! During the Alliance war campaign, Glibb is seen alongside Brann, alive, well, and presumably receiving adequate hugs. But this brings us back to the present. Are we not heading towards an inevitable conflict with the old god N’zoth? Once again, we go to combat the mind bending magic of the old gods, but we have a secret weapon. One that can resist the control of the shadows better than any void elf.Glibb.He’s here, with Brann, travelling between Kul’Tiras and Zandalar. He has now been to Nazmir and seen the corruption of G’huun through his own little monkey eyes, despite actually being a gorilla.He is our torch in the darkness, our one hope against the forces of N’zoth. Our shining beacon of mental fortitude and brutal force. He’s here, the true Champion of Azeroth, ready to play his part in saving the world once again.
