[Spoiler] I think I know what they are going to do with Sylvanas.

Based on the new information with the mournblade...her soul was split in two. Every interaction we have had with her so far is from the "dark" version of her. Her redemption arc will be to re-merge with her other half, becoming a complete soul again. Just calling this now before I see it somewhere else.
