Blizzard should change the challenge artifact to work off regular battleground wins as I dont want to risk a ban

Had a large number of friends on OCE banned recently, some for buying RBG wins and some caught up in it innocently (i know because they're didnt get their saddle last season).Blizzard refuses to allow for ban appeals so until this dies down can they do something to provide protection for innocent players such as myself?
